The glyph | became a web trend

It’s like double colon :: in the late 90s web design. It has became a wide-spread feature since late 2017 smth.

You can see it on the web in titles, lists, texts and user interface elements. That should mean like a strong divider and in the same time it has a role of “and-or” that shows some sort of affiliation between subjects.
